We’ve had really amazing tours the recent days seeing humpbacks here just north of Hauganes. As the weather forecast looks really good for the next days we believe that we’re in for even more amazing tours.

We’ve been blessed with the presence of humpback whales while whale watching here in Hauganes, North Iceland. If you are staying in Akureyri you are just 25 minutes driving to Hauganes. We expect good tours the next days!

Beautiful humpback whale just south of Hauganes!

We saw a beautiful humpback whale today just south from Haguanes. He lifted the tail and was obviously in a feeding mode. These beauties never ceases to amaze us with their size and grace!
