Our two classic oak boats have been renovated for your comfort, have enjoyed good maintenance, are spacious, comfortable and extremely stable. As there are no generators on board, the engines can be turned off when approaching the whales making the approach as gentle and non-intrusive as possible.

Lovely experience, friendly staff! We took the 100% whale watching tour and indeed we got to see whales just very shortly after getting on the boat! The staff were really friendly and the location is stunning, too.
You just need to remember that getting on a boat might not be ideal if you‘re seasick very easily - but I bet the wooden boats used by this company are already a lot better than the small boats others use, for that matter.
Overall: highly recommended!
Incredible! Incredible experience! Parking was right in front of the boat. They provided the warmest full body jumpsuit that doubled as a floatation device. If you care deeply about what size you get, then be early (15-20 min) as the smalls were taken quickly. Bring snacks and water! They do provide hot cocoa and a snack but it’s at one time in the middle of the tour. Can you tell I’m a mom yet We had MANY whale sightings, even right next to the boat. The captain was wonderful and even spent some time telling my youngest (10 yo) about Iceland and some childhood experiences there.
Jumping dolphins and lob tailing humpback whale
5th of August: We had a wonderful day today. Slow winds made for perfect sailing conditions. We started from Hauganes and headed north. On the way we were seeing jumping harbor porpoises all around us. As we went further we started to see dolphins that were also breaching around us and in big pods. The last few weeks we have had a lot of dolphin sightings in the area. Soon after the dolphins we came by our first humpback whale we had a great sighting with him and then later moved to two more humpback whales that were close by. One of them did some lob-tailing for us. In total seeing three humpback whales today.
