The humpbacks are here!

We’ve had fantastic first days here seeing humpbacks, minke whales and harbor porpoises. Now the recent days they have been moving slowly deeper into the fjord where we saw the humpbacks just a few east of Hauganes yesterday!

What a day we had! In this lovely weather we had today we saw many minke whales and harbour porpoises as well. The fishing went really well. The summer is finally here!

The fjord is coming to life now as we are seeing more and more whales in the fjord. In Sunday tour we saw two humpback whales and numerous harbour porpoises. The fishing went perfectly as well. The summer is here! 🙂

We had a good first tour for this season where we spotted harbour porpoises just a few minutes out from Hauganes. We searched for some time for two sei whales who are in the fjord but dit not find them today. We caught nice cods on our way back. The summer is...

The 2018 season is just around the corner!

We are now eagerly awaiting the start of the 2018 season which commences on April the 20th. The the beautiful Eyjafjörður whales are in the fjord and our classic Icelandic oak boats are being at the docks. See you all soon!

The 2017 season is over – See you again on April 20th 2018!

This spectacular season is now over as the whales are slowly saying goodbye and are heading off to the Caribbean. Our oak boats are now heading to the dry docks where we’ll prepare them for a fantastic 2018 season starting on April 20th. See you all then!
