May 10th: We saw two beautiful humpbacks in today’s tour, both lifting their tail fluke and in a very relaxed state. Also spotted minke whales and harbour porpoises. The birdlife is picking up which means that puffins will fly past us soon.

May 6th: We saw two humpback whales here around 30 minutes sailing north from Hauganes. Also we saw minke whales and harbor porpoises. Although a little cold days ahead we expect lovely tours in the still waters of our fjord.

May 5th: We saw two humpback whales here just south from our village. Even though slightly cold there was no wind and just beautiful weather and it will stay like that the next days. Perfect days for whale watching!

May 3rd: Lovely tour today where we saw a humpback whale just north from Hauganes and another further away. Also we saw minke whales and harbour porpoises during our tour. Although a little chilly the weather was extremely beautiful and the sea calm.

Breaching humpback!

May 2nd: We saw two humpback here just north from us, close to Hrisey island. Before we knew it one of them started to breach and slap his pectoral fin. We also saw a minke whale and harbor porpoises. Exciting times ahead! 🙂
