Our two classic oak boats have been renovated for your comfort, have enjoyed good maintenance, are spacious, comfortable and extremely stable. As there are no generators on board, the engines can be turned off when approaching the whales making the approach as gentle and non-intrusive as possible.

All the family loved it. You can book online and get a discount. About 25 minutes drive from Akureyri it is a lovely trip to Hauganes. You get provided with warm suits to wear over your clothes. You will need them it gets cold and wet on board without them.
Bring a hat also as the trip back can be cold.
The trip was amazing caught numerous sighting of humpback whales.

Amazing! This was one of the best experiences in Iceland. It was such an amazing experiences to see whales. It didn’t take long after we left the harbour when the first whales came around, it was breathtaking. The vessel they use had such a full of feeling because being old and wooden. I would recommend to use this company if you want the best experience with whales!
By the harbor
How wonderful it is do have four humpback whales by the harbor In Hauganes. They were so calm and we got to experience amazing moments with them. In the group there were humpbacks that we call our friends, like Sóley. Good day to be out on the water.
