Our two classic oak boats have been renovated for your comfort, have enjoyed good maintenance, are spacious, comfortable and extremely stable. As there are no generators on board, the engines can be turned off when approaching the whales making the approach as gentle and non-intrusive as possible.

Exciting experience The experience was better than I had expected. At the beginning you seek only for the blows, than you follow the tips of the crew regarding where the tails flash, and finally just look ahead and admire, no problems with spotting. The whales come close to the boat and are clearly visible. The scenery of the fjords is also breathtaking.The cruise was well organized: started on time, the boat is comfortable (I recommend the higher deck!), the crew was entusiastic regarding what they do.
Recommended as a part of stay in Iceland. Definitely worth spending a sunny midday there.
Excellent Well run tour. I like the oak boats. Tour guide spoke over loudspeaker in English as we went telling us about the whales and when and where they were spotted. The weather was not great and they were very honest with guests that it may be a poor day to go, and that you could reschedule or get a refund if you liked. We saw humpback whale very close. I would go on this tour again for sure
Whales all around
The last few days have been amazing. We have seen so many humpback whales and they are sometimes all around us! It is so beautiful to have few of them together. There have been some humpback whales that we know in the area, like Sóley. Always good to see old friends.
