Humpbacks just south of Hauganes!

May 10th: We saw two beautiful humpbacks in today’s tour, both lifting their tail fluke and in a very relaxed state. Also spotted minke whales and harbour porpoises. The birdlife is picking up which means that puffins will fly past us soon.

May 9th: We saw two humpbacks today close to Hauganes in a little chilly but beautiful weather. Lovely tours ahead.

May 8th: The perfect tour today as we saw four humpback whales here just a few minutes from Hauganes. Some slightly cold days ahead but perfect for whale watching.

May 7th: We saw three humpback whales in our whale watching tour today here in Hauganes in Eyjafjordur, North Iceland. Saw also harbor porpoises. Slightly chilly but beautiful weather.

Two humpbacks here just to the north!

May 6th: We saw two humpback whales here around 30 minutes sailing north from Hauganes. Also we saw minke whales and harbor porpoises. Although a little cold days ahead we expect lovely tours in the still waters of our fjord.

May 5th: We saw two humpback whales here just south from our village. Even though slightly cold there was no wind and just beautiful weather and it will stay like that the next days. Perfect days for whale watching!
